Originally built by David P. Kane, this house consisted of two bunkhouses from lower Kaslo joined into a family dwelling with old world charm. Known as Kanesholme, it's eyebrow dormer is a notable feature. George and David Kane were original settlers here and the town was known initially as Kane's Landing.
