Golf in Nelson
Nelson has its own 18-hole course, Granite Pointe Golf Club, with spectacular views of Nelson, Kootenay Lake and the famous Kokanee Glacier. Granite Pointe's course dates back to 1919 and is a prominent feature in Nelson's mountainside location.
Golf in Balfour
The challenging 18-hole Balfour Golf Course is just half an hour from Nelson, and has lakefront meadows and beautiful surrounding forests. This quiet gem of a course serves up a healthy offering of stunning views and nicely maintained holes.
Golf on East Shore
The 18-hole Kokanee Springs Golf Resort in Crawford Bay, designed by Norman Woods in 1968, is one of the flagship golf courses in the Kootenays. Accommodation is provided at the course, with fine dining and a takeout kiosk.
Riondel Golf Club is just ten minute drive from Kootenay Bay, with 9-holes, in the trees and open fairways, having the desirable title of the "Friendliest Golf Course in the Kootenays"!
Golf in Kaslo
Nestled between the stunning Selkirk and Purcell mountains, the Kaslo Golf Course is a thoughtfully designed 9-hole course for all levels of golfers. Countless hours of volunteer efforts resulted in a new timberframe clubhouse on this 125 year old course, and views from the course are spectacular. No tee time booking is required. Just show up and we'll get you on!
